- 49 graded MS-62, 9 higher at NGC. As usual for 1890s Carson City gold, both sides have become inevitably abraded, although fortunately, there is plenty of mint luster to help diffuse any adverse effects. Details are rather well struck overall. The 1892-CC seems to be the most elusive of that decade's CC emissions, and mint-state representatives are especially coveted. A bright, attractive example for the collector.
