- Description du lot
- This GEM is a condition census O-105a. A full, booming mint luster swirls all over this beauty! Strong eye appeal is imparted by a sharp strike and beautiful old album type toning that is deeper at the periphery and lightens to the center. Lovely shades of cobalt-teal, apricot-gold, and pale rose toning accents the razor sharp devices on both sides. Struck from a late state of the dies with extensive cracks on the reverse. A real GEM of a date that rarely comes so fine! PCGS 5, NGC 4. The last example to sell was CAC-approved and sold for $19,388 in our July 2017 Regency Auction. There are only half a dozen finer for the date at PCGS. Worthy of a great type or date collection. GEM Bust halves are VERY popular, and always see spirited bidding at auction! Cert. Number 34817199 PCGS # 6097
