1852-D Liberty Head Half Eagle. Winter 27-S. VF-30 (PCGS). CAC. Boldly toned in a blend of deep honey and pale rose, this is a richly original mid grade example with all major design elements bold. With the second highest mintage (91,584 pieces) among half eagles from this coinage facility, the 1852-D is one of the more frequently encountered Dahlonega Mint fives in today's market.
