1842 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-6. Rarity-3. Small Date, Medium Letters (a.k.a. Reverse of 1842). MS-63 (NGC). Richly toned a predominate silver-blue color and retaining considerable mint flash. Minor milling marks are noted from handling when scrutinized with a loupe, a couple are seen in the obverse fields. The strike is bold on all devices, an unusual trait for this early issue.
