Lot Description

O-103. A pleasing example that ranks within, or just below the condition census. This is a wonderful high grade AU early date Capped Bust half dollar. A wealth of light satiny luster clings to the protected areas of the design. Lovely dove and gold patina graces both sides with accents of light blue when viewed in a light. The eye appeal is excellent for the grade and date. PCGS 71, NGC 38, CAC 18. The last one to sell brought only $3,450; we sold one in our July 2017 for $5,288.
