Lot Description
From the CORONET COLLECTION We can not believe this is a No Motto. It looks more like a common 01-S! This coin really is close to MS67. This is the FINEST 1852 $5 graded. Superior surfaces are a joy to behold. They appear slightly satiny with a solid original "skin" yet have faint traces of semi prooflike mirrors. Only when using a strong glass can you find a small cut or two and a really wicked cool die break from 7:00 to 9:00 in the obverse stars. A strong glowing luster beams boldly from all over. Both sides area beautiful and totally original deeper gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have light frost. The eye appeal is fantastic! PCGS 1, NGC 1, CAC 1. This is the ONLY MS66+ graded. Its last sale was back in January 2016 (a very weak auction) where it brought $79,513. Our sister company Legend Numismatics would not settle for anything less then a true top pop piece. No question this coin more than fits the bill! Cert. Number 25688018 PCGS # 8250
