Lot Description

The attribution and Witham provenance are noted on the PCGS label.  When this nicely toned coin appeared in Heritage’s 2010 Boston ANA Sale I was the underbidder to my friend and colleague, David Kahn.  David passed the coin to the current consignor in July 2012.  The original “look” of the coin tells us the coin was properly stored and preserved long before Witham set it aside. Estimate: $350 to $450
