O-103. A wonderful CHOICE AU example of this Large 8 die marriage. Wonderfully lustrous surfaces are somewhat bluntly struck from clashed and cracked dies. Just a touch of wear on the highest points of the design can be seen and both sides are blanketed in a lovely lilac-pewter and clear gold patina that adds to the superb eye appeal. PCGS 170, NGC 64, CAC 25. The last CAC coin sold for $1,020 in June 2018, but this one has a record of $1,410 in March 2016. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $1,400.
