Lot Description

Splashes of vivid pinkish-rose iridescence enliven a base of golden-apricot color on both sides of this visually striking piece. Fully struck and highly lustrous with expectably smooth surfaces for the assigned grade. Although often overshadowed by its identically dated V.D.B. counterpart, the 1909-S Lincoln cent is also a key date issue in its series with a relatively limited mintage of 1,825,000 coins.
