THE E.D.J. SET, FROM THE EUEL DURWOOD JONES COLLECTION This is a very attractive GEM example of this late date Indian Head quarter eagle. Its bold, gold coloration and vivacious luster highlights the deeply impressed incuse devices and satiny smooth surfaces. While a few tiny ticks can be found with the aid of a strong glass, they have little impact on the OUTSTANDING visual allure. PCGS 575, NGC 441. RARE finer, thus we feel there is at least some duplication of submissions hoping for a 6 5+ or 66 grade. There were two examples that sold earlier in 2022, both realizing $1,560. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $2,750. Truly challenging any finer, we expect strong bidding for this GEM. Cert. Number 2033257013 PCGS # 7951
