1858-C Liberty Quarter Eagle. Winter Variety 1 (18-J), the only known dies. EF-45 (NGC). Deep honey gold with slight debris in the recesses of the reverse which adds to the sense of originality. Typical light softness in the strike, but all major elements are clear. One of just 9,056 struck.
