Lot Description

Nicholas Jackson Collection. Overton-101, "curl base 2, no knob". A tiny spine off the front of Liberty's drapery instantly attributes the inaugural die-marriage for 1828. Velvet-laden surfaces display gorgeous album toning and provide quite a lot more eye-appeal than expected of just MS-61, especially with such bold luster. Some irregular abrasions on the cheek briefly spill into the left field as well, but this seems to be the sole grade determinant, all the more since the coin sports a marvelously sharp strike.
