Lot Description

1852 Liberty Head Double Eagle. MS-60 (PCGS). The 1852 Liberty Head double eagle was produced in large numbers, and lower grade circulated examples are easy to locate today, however, coins in Mint State conditions are quite scarce. The present coin is a well detailed MS60 specimen, with green-gold surfaces, showing a pleasing strike. Much original mint luster is retained, and a scattering of minor abrasions on both sides explain the grade. PCGS# 8906. NGC ID: 268K. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
