High Promises Collection. 61 graded MS-62, 314 higher at PCGS. Modestly cracked dies did not completely preclude a surprisingly decent strike that exceeds the norm for 1923-S. The resulting vibrant luster will appeal to most collectors even after closer examination reveals delicate abrading of either side. Despite hundreds of grading events above the present MS-62, inflated by resubmissions of course, many collectors still have this difficult hole to fill within their sets.
