Lot Description

A highly lustrous specimen with smoky-lilac toning highlights on both sides. The strike is sharp and appealing, as is the overall visual effect. Struck in the first year of regular-issue silver American coinage to bear the motto IN GOD WE TRUST on a ribbon on the reverse. Just two examples of this date have been certified finer than the present example by PCGS. A lively, lovely Gem.
