1867 Pattern Five Cents. Judd-570, Pollock-638. Rarity-5. Nickel. Plain Edge. Proof-65 Cameo (PCGS). CAC. Obv:Similar in design to that used for the regular issue nickel three-cent piece of 1865 to 1889, but in a larger format and a single star on the coronet below the word LIBERTY. The digit 7 in the date is distant from the lowest hair curl. Rev:An open laurel wreath surrounds the denomination 5 / CENTS, with the word CENTS gently curved.
