Lot Description

1838-O Seated Liberty Half Dime. No Stars. AU-58 (NGC). A golden-gray example with little wear and no outwardly distracting abrasions. Traces of satiny mint bloom are still readily evident, and a bold-to-sharp strike is easily seen. This is the first New Orleans Mint Half Dime issue, and the only one of the No Stars Seated Liberty type.
