Lot Description

1798 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. Large Eagle. B-13, BB-108. Rarity-3. BB Die State IV. Pointed 9, 10 Arrows. VG-8 (PCGS). The 10 Arrows <em>Guide Book </em>variety is not denoted on the PCGS insert. Smooth and problem free for the grade with original tan-gray patina that is a bit lighter on the reverse. This is the latest die state of the variety, attributable by an obverse die crack from the rim below the digits 17 in the date that extends all the way to star 5. BB-108 dollars in this state were struck after examples of the BB-109 marriage.
