1889-S Liberty Head Double Eagle. MS-64 (PCGS). CAC. A universally frosty example with wonderfully original color in vivid golden-rose. The strike is sharp throughout and the eye appeal is strong. Our multiple offerings for Choice Mint State examples in this installment of the Fairmont Collection notwithstanding, the 1889-S is scarce at this level.
