Lot Description

Tied with perhaps nine other coins for second place honors on the PCGS Population Report. Both sides are warmly toned with a touch of gold suffused over satiny lustrous fields. Sharply struck up, this GEM has only a handful of tiny marks. The eye appeal is pleasing. PCGS 10, NGC 0. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $2,800 and there is a very wide range of APRs for these from $881 to $3,525. Only 4 are graded finer. Worthy of a great set of Jefferson nickels.
