1834 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-107. Rarity-1. Large Date, Small Letters. AU-55 (PCGS). An easy die marriage to identify for the 1834 half dollar, O-107 shows both a small die break in the top of the letter I in LIBERTY on the obverse as well as recutting to the left upright of the letter M in AMERICA on the reverse. The present example is a lustrous Choice AU with light golden tinting to boldly defined surfaces. Free of worrisome abrasions, and actually quite smooth overall.
