(1800) Washington Funeral Urn Medal. Baker-166C. Rarity-6. White Metal. MS-62 (PCGS). 129.4 grains. Holed for suspension as is nearly always the case. A satiny steel-gray specimen with softly glowing retained luster throughout. The devices are strong for the issue, and the surfaces are devoid of marks save for a trivial tick here and there. Typically found in well-worn condition, with VF or so the norm. In Mint State, the issue is considered rare. Among the finest Funeral Urn medals seen to date by PCGS, see below. Absolutely choice for -- and deserving of -- the assigned grade.
