Lot Description

Lustrous, chocolate brown coloration dominate both sides of this well struck early Indian cent. Overtones of olive and sky blue add to the visual allure. The repunched date variety. With a loupe outlines of the underdigits 69 can be seen. The eye appeal is beautiful. PCGS 12, NGC 14, CAC 3. The only PCGS graded example to sell in auction was NOT CAC and sold for $1,473 in October 2015 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is $1,350. For an advanced collector of Indian cent varieties, there are only six graded finer at PCGS in the BN designation. Cert. Number 81213377 PCGS # 2094
