A gorgeous GEM Proof example of this first Proof only Trade dollar date. Stunning in terms of the eye appeal, this coin has deeply reflective mirrored fields that beam from all over with a bold clarity and cleanliness. The razor sharp devices stand out with a bold frost that creates a stunning contrast. A blush of champagne tone can be seen toward the rims. There are a few tiny lines that can be found with the aid of a strong glass, but they do not deter from the outstanding eye appeal. Only 900 Proofs were struck. PCGS 5, NGC 24, CAC 7. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $8,250. This is the ONLY PR65 CAM to sell in auction graded by PCGS, realizing $8,225 in April 2016.
