A lovely, ORIGINAL early Mercury dime that is borderline SUPERB quality. Satiny brilliant luster glows vibrantly under a dusting of rust-gold, russet-olive, and tan-gold patina, which is heavier at the rims, very light at the centers. Well struck devices have full, crisp detail. The eye appeal is quite nice. PCGS 125, NGC 37, CAC 29. There are 7 in MS66+ FB and 34 finer. The PCGS Price Guide in MS66+ FB is $1,400 and there has not been a CAC-approved example to sell in auction since November 2018. Good luck. PCGS # 4911.00
