Lot Description

One of the more challenging late date Walking Liberty half dollars to locate in Mint State, the 1943-S is the fourth rarest issue in the "short set" after the 1942-D, 1942-S and 1943-D. At the assigned level of preservation the coin offered here is decidedly rare from a condition standpoint and would do justice to the finest collection.
