Lot Description

Well centered on a slightly ovoid planchet, both sides offer otherwise sharp EF detail that wanes appreciably only at the right obverse periphery, where the digit 7 in the date is faint. This is due to the presence of a moderately thin, yet lengthy planchet fissure in the adjacent field area; smaller flan flaws are seen outside the digits 78 in the date and at the upper right reverse. Pleasing medium brown color overall with no significant post-production marks and some nice gloss to the texture.
