Lot Description

A very scarce Proof 2C piece that is mostly original RED. Toned with bands of violet brown on the reverse, the surfaces are very reflective and has a nearly cameo like look, especially on the obverse. The estimated mintage of 100 is too low. PCGS 11, NGC 10, CAC 1. Housed in an older generation NGC-fatty, this coin sold in February 2018 for $1,800. A neat type coin or to start off your set of this short, obsolete set. Cert.
