Lot Description

Nicholas Jackson Collection. Overton-105. Patches of apparent die rust lie just right of the uppermost left stars, and the second "S" of STATES shows dramatic repunching. For the grade, this marvelous half-dollar appears substantially nicer than expected as it boasts vigorous luster beneath magenta-orange toning. Admittedly, the strike seems a bit blunt within central details, but that is commonly seen for O-105.
