1834 Classic Head Half Eagle. HM-1. Rarity-3. Plain 4. AU-55 (PCGS). A richly original piece dressed in warm olive-khaki patina. This coin is a minor Mint error, although not designated as such on the PCGS insert, due to the presence of a thin planchet lamination in the upper reverse field that extends left to bisect the letters AT in STATES.
