1848 Braided Hair Cent. N-41. Rarity-1. Grellman Die State B. MS-66 RB (NGC). This splendid Gem boasts dominant pinkish-red luster with only minimal lilac-brown patina scattered about. The coin is well struck for an 1840s large cent, the centers sharp and even the peripheries and borders displaying considerable boldness of detail.
